Holocaust Survivor to Share Story at JCC on February 3

Jefferson Community College (JCC) will host a presentation by Holocaust survivor, Inge Auerbacher (right), on Tuesday, February 3 at 7:00 p.m. in the Robert R. and Jean S. Sturtz Theater, McVean Student Center.  Admission to the presentation is free and the public is invited to attend.

In 1942, Inge and her parents were deported by Nazi soldiers to Terezin concentration camp located in Czechoslovakia where they lived for three years. The self-proclaimed youngest child in the deported group, miraculously fell among the 1% population of survivors. When her, and her parents, were liberated in 1945, Inge was ten years old. Upon their release, they learned of thirteen immediate family members and numerous extended family members who had been slaughtered.
